Apple Harvest Season!
It’s apple harvest season… and while apples are available year round, during fall you’ll find so many special varieties available at Sprouts. A caramel apple dessert board is something everyone can enjoy, because they can create their own “perfect bite”. My favorite combo on this board was dipping a Lucy Glo slice in chocolate and adding marshmallows, pretzels, and peanuts.
Let’s Build a yummy, fall, Carmel Apple Dessert Board:
1. Start by placing your ramekins/bowls of carmel apple “toppings” around the perimeter of your board. I filled mine with mini marshmallows, chocolate sandwich creams. Salted mini pretzels, candy corn, chocolate peanut butter cups, shredded coconut, fruitful O’s cereal, pumpkin spice baking chips, and rainbow sprinkles.
2. Next, add your favorite dips for apples such as caramel and chocolate.
3. Fill in the foundation of the board with freshly cut apples in all shapes, sizes, and varieties. For this board I used Honeyz apples and Lucy Glo apples, which are naturally pink on the inside! I found them at Sprouts and love shopping there for fresh produce. (For an extra touch, put apples on skewers.)
Enjoy your board by creating your “perfect” apple bite! My daughter loved an apple slice in carmel with sprinkles and Fruitful O's.
